38th Annual Conference of the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals

The National Association of Workforce Development Professionals will host its 38th Annual Conference as a hybrid event from May 16 to May 18, 2022. Participants will learn about best practices and strategies on how the field can reimagine workforce by raising the bar for the skill sets of workforce professionals, looking at how workforce programs are funded, new ways to determine purpose in the communities workforce professionals serve, and creating new workforce partnerships. Forum 2022: Annual Conference of the National Association of Workforce Boards

2025 National Tribal TANF Institute

Dream the Impossible Native Youth Conference 2025

Dream the Impossible Native Youth Conference was started in 2007 by several Southern California tribes in partnership with organizations such as the California Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program and is held at a different university each year. This conference is designed to inspire Native American youth to believe that they can achieve anything they want, introduce them to Native professionals in different fields, and help them understand how higher education can transform their lives. The 2025 conference will take place on April 19, 2025, at the California State University, San Bernardino campus.

43rd Annual Protecting Our Children Conference

The National Indian Child Welfare Association (NICWA) is hosting their annual gathering to discuss American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) child advocacy issues. January 2025 Training Institute

The National Indian Child Welfare Association is hosting the January 2025 Training Institute in Arizona from January 28 to 30, 2025. The institute has multiple pathways, including Positive Indian Parenting, Understanding the Indian Child Welfare Act, Cross-Cultural Skills in Indian Country, and Tribal Customary Adoption on the land of the Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community.
