The National Tribal TANF Institute will bring together Tribal TANF staff from across the country for an in-person educational experience from July 17-20, 2023 in Sacramento, California. The theme, “Together at the Table—Planning for Success as We Evolve” will emphasize coming together—as professionals who serve tribal communities—to share experiences, highlight what is working well, and deepen practice in the interest of collaborative learning and continuous quality improvement. Participants will have the chance to examine proven strategies and best practices to empower themselves and strengthen their engagement and commitment to their work with families and communities in a post-pandemic environment. There is a registration fee for participation.

Generations United strives to improve the lives of children, youth, and older adults through intergenerational collaboration, public policies, and programs for the enduring benefit of all. The 2023 Intergenerational Conference will be in-person in Washington, DC, on July 26-28, 2023. The conference will bring together hundreds of professionals, educators, caregivers, advocates, and enthusiasts from around the world to learn, connect, and share innovative practices and programs on a range of intergenerational topics including kinship and grandfamilies over 2 1/2 days. There is a registration fee for participation.

The National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse will host a virtual two-day event on June 7 and June 8, 2023, beginning at 12:00 p.m. ET on each day, which will discuss the nature and scope of mental health challenges faced by fathers and explore approaches that help fathers access behavioral and mental health treatment, services, and support to help alleviate their suffering and bolster their parenting skills.

Aspen Institute’s Ascend will host the virtual and in-person (in Washington, D.C.) Aspen Forum on Children and Families on April 11 (12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. ET) and April 12, 2023 (8 a.m.-3 p.m. ET) with the theme, Taking Action for Family Prosperity. The event will focus on solutions for policymakers, philanthropists, practitioners, parents, researchers, and other leaders driving toward better outcomes for whole families at the community, state, and federal levels. Speakers will delve into innovations and cross-sector insights to define a pragmatic path forward for accelerating intergenerational prosperity and well-being for families with low incomes. The convening also will leverage insights from the 2021 report State of the Field: Two-Generation Approaches to Family Well-Being.

The Administration for Children and Families will host the National Convening on Building an Inclusive Human Services System on March 28 and March 29, 2023. This two-day hybrid event will be the first federally-sponsored national conference solely devoted to creating an inclusive human services delivery system and will serve as the nation’s leading educational event for practitioners, advocates, and researchers within the field. While registration is free, both in-person and virtual attendees must register for the Convening at www.ncbihss.com no later than March 20, 2023.

The National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) will host The Forum, the nation’s largest annual workforce development conference, on March 25 to March 28, 2023 in Washington, D.C., where participants will have the opportunity to learn directly from national leaders about policy, initiatives, and trends. Attendees will also deepen their understanding of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, hear practical examples of its application, and get to ask questions of the workforce system's foremost experts. Additionally, The Forum will also offer technical sessions with the U.S. Department of Labor and opportunities for networking. There are registration fees for NAWB and non-NAWB members to attend this conference.

The Native American Fatherhood & Families Association (NAFFA) is an Arizona based non-profit 501(C)(3) organization that provides programs to strengthen families through responsible fatherhood and motherhood. NAFFA will host its 18th annual conference in Mesa, Arizona from November 2, 2022 to November 4, 2022. This conference will include workshop presentations from experts in the areas of criminal justice, education and prevention, and health and human services, as well as fatherhood and motherhood.

The Children’s Bureau and the Capacity Building Center for States will co-host the Child Welfare Virtual Expo (CWVE) 2022, Power in Partnerships: Prioritizing Lived Expertise in Child Welfare, on September 28, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET. This year’s CWVE focuses on the power of intentionally partnering with people with lived experience and expertise to transform child welfare systems and better serve and support children, youth, and families. This convening will bring together youth, families, people with lived experience and expertise, and child welfare professionals and partners to learn, share, and strategize ways to prioritize lived experience and expertise at all levels of child welfare.

Prosperity Now will host its biannual Prosperity Summit from September 19 to September 21, 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia. The Summit's mission is to convene all people with the shared goal of creating a more equitable economy to discuss how to reduce wealth inequity and open the door to opportunity for everyone, especially people of color, in the United States. A registration fee is required.

The OFA PeerTA team is holding a series of Virtual Chat N Go Café conversations in May, June, and July 2022. During these conversations, the OFA PeerTA Team will explain how PeerTA can support your program, share examples of past PeerTA reports and products, answer your questions about PeerTA support, and hear from you on topics and activities you would like PeerTA to support. These chats will also offer networking opportunities with other TANF programs to brainstorm, problem-solve, or share experiences.
