Resource: Making it Real: Teaching Pre-literate Refugee Students

This 108-page resource provides key strategies for strengthening English as a Second Language classes for pre-literate refugees. Tacoma Community House in Washington State creates opportunities for immigrants and other community members in the Puget Sound region through comprehensive services focused on self-sufficiency, inclusion, and advocacy. They annually serve more than 3,000 individuals through four core services: Education, Employment, Immigration, and Advocacy.
