Principles and Innovations to Drive Family Prosperity

This report offers a blueprint that can be used by employers, working in partnership with local, state, and federal governments, for building and continuing to build family-supportive policies. The first part of the report examines governing principles that serve as a foundation for these policies and reflect transparency, comprehensiveness for collaboration, equity, integration across systems, effective implementation, and adequate resources. The second part of the report identifies key policy innovations for family prosperity, including adequate pay, transportation access, child care, workplace learning, and feedback loops between employers and employees about the need for and availability of these resources.
