Geographies of Poverty: The Importance of Neighborhoods, Segregation, and Mobility in Perpetuating Disadvantage

On November 16, the Center for Poverty Research at University of California, Davis will host a fall conference around the theme of place-based poverty. Speakers from top research universities will present on topics such as the historical segregation of immigrants, minority disparities in health care access, the erosion of black wealth, and the future of fair housing in America.
