Emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses have struggled with employee recruitment and retention, workforce development boards have had lower job seeker participation rates, and workforce agencies and businesses are looking for strategies to recruit and retain a diverse workforce. The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration will host a webinar on January 30, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET which will provide information on how the workforce system can engage businesses by providing recruitment and retention strategies that focus on methods which can be used to promote Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility.
