Using Evidence for Promoting Equity for Children and Youth

The Urban Institute and the Forum for Youth Investment hosted a webinar on November 10, 2021 which discussed how evidence and evaluation can promote and reflect equity initiatives in the policy space, particularly policies that affect children and youth. The webinar showcased several key interactions between equity, evidence, and evaluation, focusing on child and youth policy. Themes discussed include strategies for engaging and centering community members most affected by research and evaluation, aligning equity frameworks with outcome frameworks, and using existing evidence to promote equitable policy and program changes.
