Technical Assistance to Meet Equity Goals in WIOA Youth Programs

Incorporating an equity lens into Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Program implementation is critical to ensuring strong outcomes for youth. The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration held a webinar on January 20, 2022 which reviewed technical assistance resources developed to assist WIOA Youth programs in delivering comprehensive services to youth most in need. The webinar also provided participants the opportunity to share their technical assistance needs related to how WIOA youth providers can improve youth outcomes with more equitable and inclusive programming.
