Job Quality Can’t Wait: An Introduction to the Job Quality Tools Library

This Aspen Institute video offers an introduction to the Economic Opportunity Program’s Job Quality Tools Library. The video describes the impetus behind the library’s creation and how users can use the library and its tools to strengthen job quality and promote racial equity for adult learners. The library is comprised of five sections: Understanding Job Quality, Assessing Job Quality, Engaging Businesses on Job Quality, Strengthening Practices to Improve Job Quality, and Monitoring Improvements in Job Quality. There is also a set of COVID-19 Response Tools and Resources which covers topics such as worker health and safety, financial and other supports for workers, policy and workers’ rights, and monitoring and supporting businesses.
