Green Buildings Career Map

This interactive tool provides information on specific jobs within four sectors of the green buildings and efficiency industry sector: architecture, engineering, and other professional services; building operations/facility management; commercial and institutional construction and retrofitting; and residential and multifamily construction and retrofitting. The career map notes the salary range, required and preferred education and training, certifications, years of experience prior to entry, and typical skills and job requirements. It also notes advancement opportunities within the industry and highlights 32 “New Collar” jobs, which do not require a college degree.
