Closing the Digital Skill Divide: The Payoff for Workers, Business, and the Economy

This February 22, 2023 webinar recording presents new research findings from the Closing the Digital Divide report, prepared by the National Skills Coalition in partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. The report is a first-ever, real-time snapshot of digital skill demands in the U.S. labor market, which found that 92% of jobs require digital skills spanning all industries and occupations. The report also found that states that target public resources toward digital skill building could generate measurable monetary benefits for workers, small businesses, and the broader economy. The webinar included a discussion on how the report’s findings can inform digital equity conversations at a state/local level.
