Children in Immigrant Families: Ensuring Opportunity for Every Child in America

In 2010, children in immigrant families account for 24 percent of all children in the United States. This policy brief, which was authored by First Focus, uses data on key indicators from the Foundation for Child Development Child Well-Being Index (CWI) to help inform the field on the circumstances of children in immigrant versus those in native-born families. Authors provide data on children in immigrant families, such as their citizenship, language, and well-being.
