Call to Action: Responsive Advocacy for 2SLGBTQ Native Youth Experiencing Dating Violence Webinar

Funded by the Administration on Children, Youth and Families’ Family and Youth Services Bureau, the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center will host a webinar entitled “Call to Action: Responsive Advocacy for 2SLGBTQ Native Youth Experiencing Dating Violence” on February 24, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET. This webinar panel of Indigenous Two Spirit and LGBTQ youth will provide a foundation and direction to advocates, school staff, and families on how to advocate respectfully and effectively when youth experience dating violence. The panel will present a vital call to action showing the need for youth leadership in programs that impact their lives. While the panel’s focus will be on dating and intimate partner violence, the principles presented can be used in all endeavors that affect Indigenous 2SLGBTQ youth.
