Applications for Supportive Services Academy Now Open

The National Skills Coalition has opened an application cycle for its Supportive Services Academy, which provides technical assistance to state teams in developing policies and programs that expand access to supportive services for low-income individuals; services include assistance with completing education and training programs. Applications for participation are due November 1, 2019. Supportive Services Academy teams will be required to apply a racial equity lens by providing more resources to workers and students of color who, due to systemic racism, usually have greater financial needs. The Supportive Services Academy will begin December 2019 and conclude one year later.
