2021 Ready by 21 National Meeting

The Forum for Youth Investment hosted its annual Ready by 21 National Meeting as a virtual, two-day event on May 19, 2021 and May 20, 2021. Plenary sessions and workshops covered a broad range of topics, including strengthening and aligning partnerships, reconnecting and reengaging young people after COVID disruptions, fostering social and emotional learning across schools and communities, supporting quality summer learning experiences, connecting and coordinating federal funding streams in communities, and supporting state-level systems alignments. The Ready by 21 initiative is designed to support readiness for college, work, and life among young people and to promote equity for all young people by closing gaps for those often-facing great challenges.
