Are there promising practices regarding a formal, systematic, and/or significant outreach/PR efforts by a TANF agency either alone or in conjunction with their CSE partners to promote paternity establishment and its benefits to the child?
Do we know of any examples of a so-called "Presumptive Maternal Custody Law" in operation in any State, as it may affect paternity establishment?
We have a question related to one of the options available to States for use of TANF funds. Federal TANF funds and State MOE funds can be used for Mentoring Children of Prisoners (MCP) and positive youth development. We would appreciate if you would let us know if any of your States are currently using Federal TANF funds or State MOE funds for mentoring and after-school programs for school-age children, as well as positive youth development services for adolescents. We would appreciate responses by August 29, 2005.
We are comparing the maximum TANF cash benefit to a family of three, by state. Does anyone know where we can find that information for each state?
