Tribal TANF Learning and Action Series: Programming to Build Strong Families and Promote Economic Independence
Summer 2026
The Office of Family Assistance (OFA) invites Tribal TANF staff to join our Learning and Action Series, Programming to Build Strong Families and Promote Economic Independence, as part of its technical assistance efforts designed to provide flexible, practice-informed support to Tribal TANF programs.
Participants will engage in peer-to-peer exchange with Tribal TANF peers and Tribal subject matter experts, explore common challenges, and identify approaches that align with TANF requirements and can be adapted to their own program context.
Participants may choose to attend one session, multiple sessions, or the full series based on their interests and program priorities.
The series includes three virtual sessions.
- Session 1: Helping Families Thrive: Holistic Services for Economic and Family Stability
- Session 2: Building Economic Independence: Employment Services in Tribal TANF
- Session 3: Supporting Families: Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood Programming in Tribal TANF
