The Peer TA Network would like to know if any States, Tribes, and local TANF programs have innovative strategies for engaging and working with their child welfare counterparts to address child-only cases and at-risk families?

A representative from the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services would like to know if any State has implemented a Subsidized Guardianship Program? The Arkansas State Legislature requested that DWS complete a feasibility study regarding the establishment of a Subsidized Guardianship Program. Please share some information regarding the major decision points (funding, eligibility, etc.) during the decision-making process.

A representative from Jefferson County H. S. TANF/CW Collaboration Grant would like training, policy and procedure information for Parent Partner or other peer support programs for TANF/Child Welfare clients.

A representative from the New Hampshire Department Health and Human Services would like to know if any other State mandates school attendance (K-12) for children on TANF cash assistance? If it is a part of program requirements, how is attendance monitored?

A representative from El Paso County Department of Human Services, Community Programs would like to know if other State or local agencies utilizing kinship and/or grandparent navigator programs for the TANF child-only program? Can you provide additional information on your program?

A representative from the Norfolk Department of Human Services would like to know which States provide kinship or guardian subsidy payments to family or friends caring for children in their custody?

Are there any states that means-test their child-only cases (non-parental caregivers, specifically)? Aside from the impacts to foster care caseloads, has anyone thought about the implications of doing so? Does anyone know of any federal regulations that might apply?

Does anyone have information on studies and/or programs specific to the service deliverables pertaining to the 'Child Only' (OTG) caseload?

The Peer TA Network would like to know which States have the optional grandparent liability provision as a State law? Which are considering it? Which States are enforcing the provision?

The Peer TA Network would like to know if there any States that provide TANF assistance to parents in a single child "needy" family where the child is in a short term foster care placement situation, and there is a remote possibility that the child will be reunified with the family?
