Toward a National Strategy to Improve Family, Friend, and Neighbor Child Care

This report describes a symposium on November 2, 2005 entitled: "Improving Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care: Toward a National Strategy" through the National Center for Children in Poverty. The symposium reviewed research and program issues related to improving the quality of care for children and helped to develop recommendations for policy action, and improve programming for children and families using family, friend, and neighbor child care.
