Sustainability Planning Workbook for Tribal TANF–Child Welfare Coordination

Successful collaboration between Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and child welfare programs needs to continue beyond a grant period or pilot project. This Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation resource helps Tribal TANF programs think through how to maintain and build on their coordination efforts over time.

The workbook provides Tribal TANF practitioners and program leaders with a practical structure for considering partnerships, resources, staffing, leadership support, and other factors that can sustain coordination over time. Programs can use the workbook to move from short-term project activities toward ongoing practices that support collaboration and coordinated services for families.
