Strategies to Meet the Child Care Needs of Low-Income Parents Seeking Education and Training
Many low-income parents may lack the child care necessary to obtain education and training that could improve their job prospects. In this report, the Urban Institute presents findings from interviews with 17 programs in 14 states to understand how child care organizations, academic institutions, and workforce agencies can support these families. Additionally, the authors provide strategies that programs can use to address child care challenges among their participants.
