Statewide Summit for Public Assistance Professionals: Standing Stronger Together
The University of California, Davis Human Services will host the Statewide Summit for Public Assistance Professionals virtually on October 28 and 29, 2026 to bring together California public assistance staff and leaders to discuss strategies for navigating changes in public assistance and service delivery. The summit will include keynote presentations, networking, and workshops covering topics such as innovation, digital transformation, collaboration in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, and AI’s impact on eligibility determination, client communication, fraud detection, and caseload management. Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) practitioners in California can attend this summit to learn from peers, consider how other agencies are responding to change, and identify approaches that could strengthen service delivery and partnerships.
