Resource Toolbox for Tribal - TANF Child Welfare Coordination Projects

Coordinating Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and child welfare services can require new approaches to communication, planning, data, and partnerships. This Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation toolbox brings together tools and materials developed through Tribal TANF-Child Welfare Coordination projects to help programs strengthen that work.

Tribal TANF programs can use this toolbox to assess current practices, strengthen collaboration, and identify strategies for coordinating services around families. The tools and materials can be adapted to local program needs and used to support communication, planning, data use, and partnerships across TANF and child welfare.
