I am looking for statistics regarding the breakdown of welfare participation by race since FY 1996. Any information you could provide would be very helpful.

I need the national number of children served by TANF for each fiscal year from 1999 to last available as a comparison for our state numbers or a location I can obtain that information. While this number used to be readily available I can now find only family or total participation. A child for our purposes is under 18, but if the data is available at other ranges and not available at 0-17 I would still be very grateful.
