This is the third of fourteen training modules in the Coaching for Success series, designed to provide training on how to effectively use coaching techniques to achieve successful outcomes when working with Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) clients. In this module, emotional intelligence is defined, and the four emotional intelligence quadrants are explained. Learners explore their own emotional intelligence strengths and opportunities for growth, and the skills needed to build coaching relationships using emotional intelligence are reviewed.
