Rural America’s Registered Apprenticeship Promising Practices

The Center of Excellence on Strategic Partnerships and System Alignment will host a virtual session on August 25, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. ET to show promising practices for rural areas to sponsor registered apprenticeships. Participants will hear steps to take to align the workforce system, education entities, and local employers while considering related instruction, on-the-job learning, mentorship, employing apprentices, and return on investment when sponsoring a registered apprenticeship. Participants will also receive a guide and questionnaire for convening partners and a checklist to help gather the right information to engage an apprenticeship training representative.
