Promising Approaches for Connecting Opportunity Youth to Registered Apprenticeships

Apprenticeship can provide the training, education, and career preparation opportunities that opportunity youth need. Under an Apprenticeship Expansion and Modernization Fund contract with the U.S. Department of Labor, organizations across the country have expanded access to Registered Apprenticeships to opportunity youth, using innovative practices to connect them with these career pathways. This online resource explores promising approaches and highlights examples of activities and strategies in the following five categories: Employer Engagement; Recruiting and Engaging Youth; Braided and Adaptive Funding; Building Partnerships, Ecosystems, and Intermediaries; and Inclusive Program Design.
