A Green Career Pathways Framework: Postsecondary and Employment Success for Low-Income, Disconnected Youth
This report was published by the Corps Network. The authors explore the promise of green jobs to offer a pathway out of poverty for youth who are not enrolled in school. The green jobs sector of the economy has expanded and offers long-term employment potential for workers, even during the recession. Specifically, this report provides an overview on how to develop successful green jobs training programs in partnership with industries with a current employment demand, postsecondary institutions, and community-based youth programs.
